Parents’ Day Celebration

Parents’ Day event, 8 May

For Parents’ Day we invited our residents and their families to an event full of laughter and emotion.

It opened with a warm greeting from our representative director.

First came the award ceremony for our residents — the “Beautiful Companionship Award” and the “Century of Youth Award.”

Then our facility director and family members read heartfelt poems and pinned on carnations, a meaningful time for reflecting once more on a parent’s love and grace.

The staff followed with a lively “Kkungttari Shabara” dance performance, and our residents joined in a group routine to “Parallel Lines,” drawing great laughter and applause.

Kim Chang-hwan and other staff then performed an energetic dance to a Kara song, raising the temperature of the hall still further.

During the wonderful ballroom dance segment our residents’ bright laughter never let up, and lively folk-song and Yeongsimi pumba performances kept the fun going right to the end.

We offer our respect and gratitude to all parents. ^^
